Julia Cardigan

I have been in love with the Julia cardigan from Mouse House Creations since I first saw it last summer. I think it’s a great flattering shape and can easily be a transported from a special occasion to office to lounging around home. I bought this material last September. It’s a warm knit fabric and was fantastic to sew with. It didn’t stretch or slip about while sewing. It did however fray but after some experimenting I solved it by using the blanket stitch setting on my Singer One. The instructions for this pattern were good and easy to follow. Next time I will make the double hemmed version as I think the next material I have in mind for this pattern could do with the doubled up hem. Love this cardigan though 😄😍

And from the back it isnt too bad either.
